Description
1 Volume. William Shakespeare, The Tempest. Limited Edition. Bound and signed by Bayntun Riviere in full blue morocco with the covers displaying gilt-tooled bordering with floral corner flourishes. The spines are faded to green and display raised bands, floral panel details, bordering, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. All of the edges are gilded with floral gilt-tooled turn-ins and marbled endpapers. This edition is limited to 520 copies, numbered and signed by the artist, this being no. 385. Illustrated with mounted color plates protected by tissue by Arthur Rackham. Published by William Heinemann, Ltd. in London, circa 1900.
