10 Volumes. Various Authors, Woman: In All Ages and in All Countries. Limited edition, printed for subscribers only. Bound in full dark green morocco with double gilt borders on covers. Elaborate gilt-decorated and lettered raised band spines. All edges gilt. Green and brown inlays with watered silk endpapers. One of 250 numbered sets of which this is No. 12. Printed throughout on Japanese vellum. A different scholar authored each volume, including M. Carroll, A. Brittain, and E. Pollard. Hand colored frontispiece and profusely illustrated throughout. Philadelphia: G. Barrie & Sons, 1907.
