The spines house raised bands, dotted in gilt tooling with panels displaying gilt-tooled bordering, floral corner details, and label lettering as well as central floral details in red inlay and gilt tooling. The top edges are gilt with marbled endpapers. This edition is limited to 1000 numbered copies, this being no. 420. Included in this edition are 60 etchings, woodcuts, maps, and facsimiles. Published by Gebbie & Co. in Philadelphia, 1886.
