This is Bob Baker's personal copy of the production draft script for the feature animations Wallace & Gromit The Wrong Trousers which came out in 1993 and his draft screenplays for the Wallace & Gromit The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Baker was a British television and film writer who worked on the original series of Dr Who and created the canine character K9. He was the co-writer of the Wallace and Gromit films The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and A Matter of Loaf and Death ( in which the character Baker Bob is named after him).He earned a share of two Academy Awards and two Baftas.

This collection of original draft screenplays and notebooks provides an unique glimpse in to the early formation of ideas and plot behind the animation. The original title for the Curse of the Were-Rabbit was Wallace & Gromit in Great Vegetable plot.

All the screenplays are accompanied with a specially made certificates of authenticity confirming it is from Bob Baker's own personal collection

Unbound typed screenplay. 85 pages (30 x 21 cm) tied with silk ribbon, each page stamped 'Aardman animations Ltd 19', some pencil annotations on few pages, some slight spotting on preliminary pages; all housed in a modern foldover red cloth box, decorated with image of Wallace and Gromit. [with] Four original draft scripts and one notebook. 1. Wallace & Gromit in the Great Vegetable Plot, 85pp, pencil annotations bound in pink paper wrappers; 2. Wallace Gromit in the Great Vegetable Plot, 253pp, pencilling on covers, and throughout the script, bound in white paper covers, owner's ink inscription on front cover, 3. Wallace Gromit in the Great Vegetable Plot 253pp, bound in white paper covers, ink writing on rear cover; 4. Wallace & Gromit Curse of the Were Rabbit Act 1 & 2, plus Act 3 outline only, 67pp, unbound, held together with ties, owner's inscription on upper cover; 5. A4 notebook with green covers containing numerous sketches, ideas and concepts; all housed in modern yellow cloth foldover box with an image of Wallace and Gromit on upper cover.
