Schwerdt-Spitz-Bobins copy. The Schwerdt-Spitz copy of this rare early Alken series, issued without a title-page and which Schwerdt says was 'One of the author's favourites'. Few Alken prints are lithographic, and these have strikingly fresh colouring.I.C.F.G.R.
First edition. Landscape folio, 6 fine hand-coloured lithograph plates by Hullmandel after Alken, interleaved with blank Whatman paper of the same date, later green half morocco with green morocco label to upper cover, cloth slip-case, a fine copy.
