'Churchill crossed British East Africa via the Uganda Railroad, reaching Kampala and beginning his safari. At Simba Station, oryx and rhinoceros were hunted. After arriving at Murchison Falls, he bagged a white rhino. His party continued along the Nile where hippopotamus, waterbuck, reedbuck, and roan were collected, with Colonel Wilson of the hunting party bagging an elephant.' - Czech.
First edition. 8vo, xiii, 22 6pp., 16 pages ads at end, frontispiece, 60 illustrations on 46 plates, original red pictorial cloth gilt, spine faded, a very good clean copy.
