The first five pages detail materials to be used at the Bell Inn, possibly for conversion, and a further 3 pages list names and addresses of tradesmen. These tradesmen are mainly based in London. There follows 71 pages of recipes, including Old wife Cake, Scotch Bread, Egg Baskets, Kidney soup, Abernathy Biscuits; and various home-made wines. -
