Bombay Edition. Leatherbound. Thirty-one volumes. First published in 25 volumes but eventually grew to 31 volumes as Kipling continued to write. SIGNED by Ruyard Kipling in volume one on the front title page. This edition consists of 1050 copies printed by R. and R Clarke from the Florence Press Type, designed by Herbert P. Horne and lent by Chatto and Windus which hand-made paper that bears the watermark "RK", blue and black title pages.
Works include: 'Plain Tales From The Hills', 'From Sea To Sea', 'The Jungle Book', 'The Second Jungle Book', 'Just So Stories', 'The Days Work', 'Kim', 'Puck Of Pook's Hill', 'A Books Of Words', 'Many Inventions', 'A Book of Words', 'Captain Courageous', 'Reward And Fairies', 'Wee Willie Winkle', etc.
Handsomely bound by Aspery (gilt stamp lower inside covers) in navy blue Morocco between cloth boards, top edge gilt, spine single gilt-rule in compartments between raised banding, second and third panels gilt titles, blue decorative endpaper, untrimmed edges. Very good. Published between 1913 and 1938 in London by Macmillan and Company Limited.
