Description
£95.00
First edition, published by G. P. Putnam, 1970.
Stated on the cover as 'a novel by', this part fiction, part autobiographical book, referencing life growing up in a strictly Roman Catholic family, developing in to an insider's account of life at Andy Warhol's Factory. Viva performed in many of Warhol's films and at one point was incredibly close to the artist.
"Superstar Viva, adored, acclaimed, imitated, underground movie star and heroine of the New People, writes a startling novel–perhaps the most revelatory and honest work of fiction ever produced by a woman." -
