This extraordinary copper mantel clock is a rare example of Amsterdam School design from the 1930s, a movement that merged expressive architecture with the applied arts in the Netherlands. Its distinctive form and sculptural silhouette reflect influences from architects such as Piet Kramer and the design workshop of Winkelman & van der Bijl.
