Antique 1920s Public Iron Wall Clock With Hand-Painted Dial, Industrial Style
-
Description
An antique 14.5 inches diameter wall clock from the 1920s, manufactured by clockmaker Franz Klameth, Vienna, Austria. Clocks like these were originally used in public offices, a factory or a train station. Made of metal with a hand-painted clocks face, lovely Art Nouveau numerals and still its original clock hands. The housing is glazed in brown and looks like wood, which was usual in the 1920s and 1930s. A lovely 100-year-old vintage piece with amazing patina, especially on the clocks face. Working perfectly, powered by a modern (and silent) quartz movement.
