Description
A French painted tôle pocket watch shaped wall-hanging clock with hand-painted floral décor from the early 19th century. This exquisite petite French wall clock is charmingly shaped like a pocket watch with a typical gilded circular bow at the top, connected to what would be the watch's rewinding mechanism. The clock's face, adorned with Roman numerals, is surrounded by a goldenrod colored frame, delicately adorned with hand-painted swags of red roses. The clock is not currently in working condition, however we could add a quartz crystal for $150. With its interesting shape and graceful décor, this French wall-hanging clock circa 1800 will be a charming decorative accent in any home.
