Rare Louis XV period wall clock "cartel d'applique " , finely cast and chiseled , beautiful mercury gliding , the enameled dial with roman numerals , signed GILLE LAINÉ À PARIS - Gilles Lainé ( Pierre Francois Gille ) , dit "L'AINÉ", master clock maker since 1746 . Mouvement by Pierre Gilles. Original Gilding and movement in working condition. France.
