Description
Junghans mid-century table clock in metal and brass. Germany, 1950s Decorative and elegant mid century table clock made by renowned clock maker Junghans. A very delicate and joyful design, this clock is quintessentially mid century. The combination of materials used is wonderful and well chosen, from the brass details to the off-white metal. The clock face is interesting too, with a stylish gradiant shifting from black to a speckled sand color. The clock hands are refined and delicate. When seen from the backside the quality of the clock is stunning, for example when one looks at the brass movement piece. Great vintage condition with a desirable patination on the painted and brass parts. Signed Junghans at the front and on the movement piece at the back.
