Description
An impressive and large brass-and-glass Kienzle Chronoquartz Mid-Century Modern desk or table clock. This is the largest model available, standing 11 1/2 inches tall. In the style of Heinrich Johannes Möller, the clock features a heavy brass housing, a stunning world map clock face with world time zones, a domed (real) glass cover, and beautifully detailed three-dimensional Roman numerals. Produced in the 1960s by Kienzle Germany, this elegant and solid piece is in very good condition, with marginal patina on the brass that adds character. The clock retains its original movement and operates using a standard battery. Fully functional, it is a timeless statement piece.
