1914’s Pair of large porcelain cobalt blue lidded 19” vases decorated in gold with mythological scenes one is inscribed on the bottom “Odysseus wird von den Magden verhohnt” the other “Jpiel der Freier”. Hutschenreuther. Germany. Blue marks on the bottom and inside the lids.The top left box contains the letter "C". The top right box contains the letter "M". The bottom box contains the letters "HR". To the left of the 'pot' shape is the number "1814". To the right of the 'pot' shape is the number "1914". Under these markings are the words "Hutschenreuther Hohenberg Bavaria".
