Description
Inspired by the Hephaestus the Greek mythological god of blacksmiths, metallurgy, and fire. Sorge maintains an immense amount of control with the swirling steel of this piece, each curve is ever so graceful. Layers of various toned patinas are used to achieve the rich color throughout the piece, which exudes subtly graceful tonal nuances. He then sets the piece atop a solid cylindrical piece of plasma cut steel.
