Description
Burmese vase with Queen’s Design, Excellent condition 12″ high. In 1885, Frederick Shirley obtained the patent for producing Burmese in the United States. Mount Washington in 1886 gave permission to Thomas Webb & Sons to produce Burmese in England. As for signatures, Mount Washington used paper labels on Burmese pieces, few of which have survived.
