Description
Unidentified carving shop. Measures: 39.75" H x 18.25" W x 8" D.
Executed in three quarters round, this carving would most likely have been used as decoration for a circus wagon. Circus wagons were richly adorned with many figural elements.
Exhibited: Mingei International Museum's inaugural exhibition. "American Expressions of Liberty." San Diego, California, 1996. -
