Victorian Classical sterling silver picture frame. Made by A & J Zimmerman Ltd in Birmingham in 1897. Rectangular window in convex surround; scrolled wire crown and bottom corner supports with graduated beading. With glass, silk lining, velvet back, and hinged silver easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Unusual dimensions: Frame: H 16 x W 10 1/4 in. Window: H 11 1/2 x W 7 1/8 in. #BY762
