A rare ‘a treccia' green pulegoso glass picture frame designed by architect and designer Carlo Scarpa and produced by the famous Italian glass house, Venini, c.1938. This 'braided' glass photo frame has a light, luminous quality and is a truly stunning example of Muranese glass production at this time. Signed on the reverse of the brass support, ‘Venini/Murano’.
