French 19th Century Neoclassical-Style Giltwood Exhibition Frame

Description
This handsome Neoclassical-style giltwood frame, c. 1860, is from France and features exquisite gilded reeding with acanthus leaf corners and surrounded by palmetto leaves and berries. Please note that the corners have been repaired. This frame would be excellent for any painting or with a beveled mirror plate!
