French Modern silver gilt picture frame, ca 1950. Retailed by Hermès in Paris. Rectangular surround: on front allover raised and faceted diaper pattern; sides plain. With glass, silk lining, and leather back with hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Minerva head fineness stamp (950) with maker’s (Ravinet d'Enfert) and retailer’s stamps. Very good condition with nice toning.
