George V sterling silver and enamel picture frame. Made by Sanders & Mackenzie in Birmingham in 1927. Rectangular window in surround with arched top and bracket supports. Blue guilloche enamel on front and silver on sides. Large Edwardian form and intense and gorgeous color. With glass, silk lining, and stained-wood back and hinged easel support for a very special portrait. Fully marked. Very good condition.
