Midcentury Modern sterling silver picture frame. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Rectangular window in plain and flat surround. At top is gold emblem in form of waisted cylinder encircled with bands of which the largest inset with black stones (possibly onyx). With glass, silk lining, and laminate back and hinged easel support for portrait (vertical) display. Fully marked including maker’s stamp postwar pattern no. 23480. Very good condition.
