Description
A substantial Rococo style antique fireplace in Italian White marble. A finely carved frieze with ornate medallion inside acanthus and foliate carving, flanked on either side with fielded panels again with foliate detail. The voluted jambs with out facing well carved acanthus scrolls. A deep well moulded in ground frames the inner and the side returns decorated with a stepped panel. All beneath a large shaped and tiered shelf.
