Description
Fireplace surround with 3 terrazzo panels, beautifully composed and shaded with
scenes evocative of cave paintings like those at Lascaux. The palette is tonal
with shades of beige, gray, terra-cotta and black. The line drawing is executed
with inlaid brass, as is the signature: EB. American, c. 1935
The mantel is a contemporary contribution by STEPHEN ANTONSON with
quarter-round profile in hand-sculpted plaster finish
