Regency octagonal shaped chinoiserie papier-mâché planter or jardiniere with concave pierced sides, decorated with gilded pagodas, figures, flowers and trees on a black background. The interior is painted green. The base is reverse scalloped.

Condition:	Good. There is wear to the paint at the top edges, some seam separation at the seams, two holes in the lining which are hardly noticeable.
