Description
Rare American Federal period giltwood convex mirror, the circular plate and reeded slip set within a boldly molded frame carved to appear like snake skin, surmounted by a carved laurel wreath and ribboned bow flanked by stylized leaves. The undermount, a fabulous fantasy of winged dragon-like dolphins.
Very faded label on back reads:
