Origin: Delft, the Netherlands
Workshop: De Twee Scheepjes
By: Jan Gael
Date: 1707 - 1725
A fine lidded vase painted in cobalt blue on a very clear tin-glazed ground. The main decoration of the vase is painted over eight cartouches four scenes of flowers on a rock, with birds. The lid has four cartouches with a floral scene and a lion on top.
Marked underneath J G / 36.
The vase is excellent condition. -
