Description
Rare pair of highly decorative mid-19th century solid silver candelabras, coming from the period around 1860 in Austria. Artfully designed with amazing looking small details, these large, extraordinary silver candelabras were elaborately hand chased out of fine silver (535 gramm & 538 gramm) and show absolutely beautifully ornamented surfaces. A truly impressive and eyecatching pair of antique candelholders which will embellish every festive table. These lovely 3-armed candelabras can be also quickly transformed into 2-armed candle holders with two exceptional crafted cover plugs depicting small pheasants on it. The beautifully shaped bases with lovely floral pattern complete the incredible look of this unusual pair of 19th century silvered candelabras. Both candle holders are hallmarked with the famous Austrian "Diana head" mark as well as the silversmith stamp.
