A charming English wicker basket dating to circa 1900, originally used in a fabric mill for storing and transporting textiles. Handwoven from natural wicker, the basket retains its wonderfully aged surface, warm patina, and original black painted lettering, giving it distinctive industrial character. Its generous proportions and sturdy construction make it both decorative and highly functional. The hinged lid opens to reveal ample interior storage, while the authentic signs of age and use reflect its working history. Today, it would make an excellent log or firewood basket beside a fireplace, as well as an attractive storage piece for blankets, linens, or other household items.
