A pair of Bohemian enamelled black glass vases and covers
Bohemian, Late 19th Century
Height 37cm, width 16cm, depth 12cm
Beautifully decorated with intricate floral motifs in pale pastel tones, these charming vases were made in late nineteenth century Bohemia, and come fitted with original gilt-mounted covers. Executed in black glass and decorated with beautifully colourful enamel embellishments, such vases are these are exemplary of Bohemian nineteenth century glass making, typified by a combination of rich dark glass with vibrant and light colourful tones and motifs. -
