African 20th Century carved wood Makonde abstract figure in Shetani style (Swahili: "devil"). Using otherworldly physical traits in 5 forms: human mammal fish bird and reptile this piece is notable for its prominent eyes fluid openwork form and a ridged face on the opposing side.

Wear to finish with some losses chip on the forehead restoration on one leg.
