African Gabon / Congo 20th Century Kota Mahangwe carved wood reliquary guardian figure in flattened geometric form with protruding eyes and nose, a rope-wrapped finial, decorative textures and gilt highlights, a hammered metal strip applied on the back spine plus a looped enclosure, mounted on a molded wood rectangular stand.

Wear to finish, some natural wood splits, mount a bit loose
