Aldo Londi Bitossi Cinese Vase, Ceramic, Orange, Gold, Signed. Small scale vase with very pleasing visual proportion. Glazed in the Cinese textured red orange, with a gold glazed tapered base, decorated with impressed spiral circles. Signed in black glaze on the underside: "52/3A ITALY". Aldo Londi's Cinese series of decorative accessories drew heavily from the forms and patinations of ancient Chinese bronze vessels. Bitossi distributed the Cinese decor worldwide through Rosenthal Netter of New York City.
