Description
On offer for your consideration we have an extraordinary wrought iron thistle flower made in Italy by Alessandro Mazzucotelli.
Very rarely do you ever see a piece of sculpture such as this. Originally this came out of a villa on Lake Como, Italy that was decorated in the Italian Art Nouveau or Liberty style. This unique sculpture depicts a blooming field thistle flower, the spiky leaves of which envelop the flower, which has countless petals, each individually forged – a true work of art. You can hand it on the wall or just rest on a console or cocktail table, it will works in many ways.
