Description
Totem designed by Alessandro Mendini (1931-2019), made of ceramic with high gloss glaze. Composed of four independent pieces that make it detachable. Number 22/50. Italy.
Measurements: Diameter 18 x H 73 cm
Alessandro Mendini was an industrial designer, architect, and painter who played an important role in the development of Italian design. Winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 1979, his designs are characterized by his interest in the mixture of different cultures and forms of expression. His works can be found in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum in New York and the Georges Pompidou Center in Paris.
Every item LA Studio offers is checked by our team of 10 craftsmen in our in-house workshop. Special restoration or reupholstery requests can be done. Lighting can be electrified to the required voltage.
