Description
Carved from a single block of wood, this organic sculpture by artist Alexandre Noll showcases the ingenuity and technical skill of the artist.
Two smooth, rounded biomorphic forms appear to be leaning into each other in a delicate balance, with one seemingly enveloping the other. The back of the sculpture reveals that these two disparate forms are in fact carved from a single piece of wood.
The exposed interior of the sculpture features a rougher chip carved texture, contrasting to the polished surface of the exterior of the piece.
The piece is signed and mounted to a coordinating wooden rectangular base. - More Information
