Art Nouveau glass vase with engraved silver overlay, ca 1900. Wide tapering bowl and tall cylindrical neck with flared mouth. Overlay in form of vertical trellis entwined with stem flowers on neck and on bowl shoulder a ring of big flowerheads; oval scroll cartouche (vacant). Glass is green. Silver fully marked including maker’s (Alvin Corp.) and retailer’s (Wise & Son) stamps and no. G3486/1. Very good condition.
