A wonderful antique santo carved in wood with articulated arms and a slatted base from Spanish colonial Latin America, likely Mexico. Wonderful patina with detailed facial feature and glass eyes. This kind of santos are also known as the "cage dolls" and they were made to be dressed in attires and used in religious processions.
