French Art Deco Cubist Vase in Translucent & Frosted Glass by Andre Hunebelle
-
Description
This refined glass vase was hand blown by Andre Hunebelle- one of the finest glass blowing studios of the period- in France, circa 1930. It offers curvilinear cubist geometric patterns etched in the glass throughout, and a gently expanding body that sharply tapers inwards at its top to a circular mouth. This is a first-rate example of French Art Deco glass, perfect for any discerning collector of the period, or for anyone with an appreciation of impeccable and beautiful objects. It would be a stunning addition atop any table or etagere. Signed on the bottom "A Hunebelle France." Excellent condition.
