Description
19th century French bird hunter's tool and decoy. This item was placed in the ground and wound up. The hunter would pull a string causing the head of the tool to rotate. With the reflection and movement, birds would mistake it for a bird that had landed below and found safe haven. The unsuspecting birds would fly towards the object below. Each tool is priced individually and comes with a custom iron wall mount so that the tool can be displayed. Great gift for hunting aficionados!
