Antique Vintage Brass Mortar and Pestle
-
Description
This early 20th-century mortar and pestle is made of brass with an honest patina. Both the mortar and pestle are traditional in style. The mortar has a classic bell-shaped body and the pestle has two flat ends. Brass mortar and pestles were used for both food and apothecary. This makes a lovely decorative piece on a bookshelf, kitchen, or bar and looks even better as a collection with similar mortar and pestles. Mortar is 4.75" dia x 3"h, pestle is 1.25" dia x 8.25"h.
