Art Deco Metal Spotted Leopard Bookends on Wood Base. Stylized art deco spotted leopard typically seen in Asia seems to be part of the pantheon of animals sculpted in the style from this period 1920s-1950s. These are spelter and unsigned, but also unspoiled in the original condition with a sort of antique copper finish. Positioned in a rather curious posture can be appreciated as small sculptures or truly work as functional bookends. Decorative arts from that great French period of Art Deco.
