Pair of antique French floral glass vases by Baccarat
French, 19th Century
Height 55cm, diameter 17cm

The superb Baccarat glass vases in this pair are of traditional form. Each vase features an ovoid body above a spreading foot, with a waisted neck and flared rim above. The blue ground of the vases is profusely overpainted with colourful floral bouquets, gilt garlands and acanthus leaves, and grey-lilac cartouches containing further floral adornments.
