Pair of large antique white glass vases by Baccarat
French, Late 19th Century
Height 120cm, diameter 41cm
Of an impressive size, this identical pair of vases are made from sophisticated white opaline glass. Delicately embellished with minimalistic gilding, the vases exude a smart yet elegant air.
Crafted in the late 19th century by the French Baccarat manufactory, these vases are of exceptionally high quality, being the product of one of the most significant glassware producers in design history.
Founded in 1764, Baccarat rose to prominence for its exceptional craftsmanship, earning royal patronage from King Louis XV and international acclaim. Its glassware became a symbol of prestige among European nobility and collectors worldwide.
