Large American Art Nouveau sterling silver vase, ca 1890. Tapering cylinder with wide mouth and foot. Fluid and dynamic floral ornament with chased wraparound and entwined leafing stems. Cast loose and windswept blooms on mouth rim and foot. A showstopping centerpiece. Marks include retailer’s stamp (Bailey, Banks & Biddle) and no. 3227. Very good condition.
