Description
Bruno Gambone Large Vessel 1960 c.
Glazed stoneware with abstract decorative imagery to both sides. The vessel has a flattened, sculptural bottle form with a long tapered neck and dark glaze, contrasted by rectangular panels with expressive, calligraphic decoration.
Dimensions:
24¾ H × 15½ W × 4½ D in
63 × 39 × 11 cm
Glazed signature and inscription to underside: “Bruno Gambone Italy.”
Condition:
Good vintage condition. A couple of minor flecks to the edge of the base. Minor surface variation and irregularities inherent to the handmade and glazed nature of the work. -
