This excellent figural sculpture was made by Bruno Zach, a highly regarded Austrian artist active in the early twentieth century in the Art Deco movement. Depicting a debonair, calm, and young male figure full of self-confidence, this fine work stands out among Zach's oeuvre, which usually features erotic pieces. Made in patinated bronze, it is mounted on a small rectangular base, in turn mounted on a larger marble piece. Full of gentlemanly swagger, this piece exudes character, making it an excellent collector's piece for those with a love for Art Deco works and antique sculptures.

The piece is signed on the base ‘B. Zach’.
